is compact, oil-free, vacuum pump developed specifically for gel drying. Built tough, with internal PTFE coating, this reliable unit withstands formidable acidic conditions that result when drying fixed gels. The pump virtually eliminates maintenance. A cold trap is not required. The pump is protected from evaporated gel fluids by an internal, self-cleaning pretrap. A large, 1 L solvent recovery vessel collects the postpump vapor condensate; neutralizing agent eliminates irritating acetic acid vapors, and provides for safe disposal of liquids.
