Art Deco French Bronze Dog Macassar Ebony Cocktail Pick Holder Set

You are looking at a vintage Art Deco era French cocktail pick set. The base of the holder is Macassar ebony wood. The dog is bronze which makes this item very heavy. The dog looks like a Shih Tzu and it is chained to the brass cylinder. Original label on the underside reads: Bronze cisele ... G.G. In English, literally: chiseled bronze. The dog would have been finished with hand tools. In all my years of dealing in these kinds of collectibles, this is the only one I ever seen. There are 6 picks with translucent pinkish water melon yellow color knobs. These are not bakelite but rather another type of plastic.  The holder is 4 1/2" by 1 1/2" deep and 2 5/8" tall without picks. These are 3 1/8" long.
This set weighs 251 gr before packing.
Overall condition is excellent. Light wear to the brass cylinder. Picks are in great condition.  Clean set, ready to use of display.
