In the 1950’s, 1960’s and early 1970’s plastic swizzle stir sticks were popular. Nowadays all you get is a straw if you are lucky. Patrons were encouraged to take the swizzles as a way for them to spread the word and advertise the venue. As time goes by these relics will continue to grow in value.
This lot includes 31 swizzles.
Look very close, as there are some nice
swizzles in this lot, and
you
may come
across
some "finds"
The
San Diego 1972 elephant
swizzle is probably worth the buy price by itself.  It will be 50 years old next year.
There are also a
Walt Disney World (Florida)
and a
Walt
Disneyland
Hotel (California)
swizzle! The
wrestlers
and
Rule Stir
swizzles are nice too.
At less than 40¢ per swizzle, these could easily be resold for 5 to 10 times that. Don't miss the chance to own some inexpensive swizzles, or purchase them to resell in your antique store.
