BACKGROUND
:   The Coupe Deville that this DRIVER SIDE DOOR (CASING ONLY) was removed from has a very odd story.
In 1975. it was parked in a garage in Chicago, never to see daylight again until 2017 -- 42 YEARS LATER!
The engine was seized from non-use, but the buyer didn't care.
The car was super solid still after all of those years.
His plan were to customize (bag) the car.  So the front end panels were removed and the entire front suspension & engine cradle frame was cut off this very low mileage (45K).  The bodywork was all started at this time too, as you can see it's had prep work done.  Well, the owner then lost interest and could not ($$) finish the car, so it sat halfway done for 2 years in a heated shop.  With the front frame being cut off, it's not worth re-assembling - so this is a PREMIUM donor car now.
I have ALL of the body panels, glass, interior, EVERYTHING.  What can I list for your?
MANY of these parts are EXCLUSIVE to the 1968 model year.
CONDITION
:  The car wasn't even driven for 42 years (see story above), thus
this DOOR CASING has not seen the road since 1975.
Talk about lack of use and lack of damage from the environment!  It had been sanded and prepped for painting (as the whole car had been) and then the owner could not complete the project.  There is no rot in the door bottom, as many have by this age.  Casing is very straight and true, and just about
ready to final prep & paint (It was already prepped but not painted a few years ago).
Being 53 years old, the condition is quite good, well above any used Door you might find at this point.
NOTE:  A CASING IS JUST THE METAL BODY OF THE DOOR, AND DOES NOT INCLUDE THE INNER PARTS, LIKE THE WINDOW REGULATOR & MOTOR, WINDOW GLASS, VENT WINDOW, DOOR HANDLE, POWER LOCK PARTS, VENT WINDOWS, HINGES, OR STAINLESS STEEL TRIM.  THOSE ITEMS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE SEPARATELY.
This door quite probably will also fit your 1967 Coupe Deville and Calais Coupe, but check into that before buying.
